The 2024 Ford Explorer possesses enough power to allow you to take on off-road adventures and run your daily errands in Hialeah. Our team at Gus Machado Ford will review the performance features of the 2024 Explorer below.

Two engines are available for the 2024 Ford Explorer. You can choose a 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 engine that churns out 300 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque or go with a 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine that yields 400 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque. These engines are accompanied by a 10-speed automatic transmission. There are paddle shifters behind the wheel to give you more control of the transmission and allow you to enjoy a more engaging drive.

When driving in windy conditions, a Side Wind Stabilization feature kicks in to maintain your Explorer on its path. A Terrain Management System with seven drive modes is available to enable the Explorer to match your mood and road conditions. The drive modes include Normal, Slippery, Sport, Eco, Tow/Haul, Trail, and Deep Snow/Sand.
